My updated craft area

Had to do some moving and reorganizing to get all my crafting goodies into one area.

I used a lot of storage ideas from pinterest to get everything in, even had to do some purging lol. I think it turned out great and I have done more crafting since I got it all in one area than I have done in a long time so it was worth it.

I actually made this for my craft desk after I  took the main photos from foam board. I love it!

The plastic cubes on top here came from Diaso, not bad for 1.50 each and they are the perfect height and with for all my sticker type embellishments.

These are carts for all the need to have close items that I couldn't put on my actual desk so I can just pull them over to me when I need to.

These drawers on the bottom actually have chipboard dividers inside to organize my multitude of pens and markers by type.

Foam board stamp pad storage

I needed a new storage solution for all my stamping stuff so did some looking around and found a few great ideas made with foam board. A 20 1/8 x 29 15/16 sheet is a buck at DollarTree and I used hot glue to assemble it (went with gorilla glue hot glue sticks, they have a longer cooling time). The ones I was finding didn't have enough slots for everything I needed nor did they have any or enough drawers for the smaller stuff I needed in the same area.  I had to put my mad math skills to work to measure, design and test and came up with this!

I found this one from Robin

And went with her idea.

Here are the boards starting out, took 7 pieces.

And after cutting

And here it is before decorating the drawers and filling it up

I had to tweak a couple of pieces from the original cut size but I have them all drawn out on graph paper with the exact measurements.

I think I'll come back later to share them.

Interactive Baby Album

So I  am just tickled at how these are turning out. I have to show this one off but it's not complete. I still have to make the cover, and Liz has to make the spine charm and closure for me.
This post is photo heavy so it might take a while to load.

There are 6 sets to mount to the spine and cover so that's 12 pages plus it will have pockets on the inside cover and inside back cover. The green fabric is what it will be covered with. I'll post again when it is complete.

This is actually a slider card adapted to use in my album.

 This has several "tuck spots'

This safety pin is actually floating on the page where one of the closure magnets is sitting. Very fun!
